Harrison Ford, who along with being a movie star is also an avid pilot, enjoyed a pre-Thanksgiving flight in Los Angeles.

The movie legend was accompanied by his third wife Calista Flockhart, 58, who was seen wrangling her four dogs as she crossed the tarmac.

During his latest outing Harrison, 80, seemed in fine fettle after embarking on the marketing campaign for his upcoming fifth Indiana Jones movie.

Meanwhile Calista, whose movies include The Birdcage, was masked and warded off the autumnal chill in a cozy-looking sweater.

Although the original three Indiana Jones films were set in the 1930s, the fourth was set in the late 1950s and the upcoming fifth takes place in 1969.

The title character is now an old man with an adult granddaughter played by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, 37, the writer and star of Fleabag.

Former Bond villain Mads Mikkelsen has joined the cast in the nefarious role of a former Nazi now working to assist NASA in its Space Race against the Soviet Union.

After a string of delays brought about by the coronavirus pandemic, the still untitled movie is now scheduled for release next summer.

Its publicity campaign is already well underway, with Harrison posing in character on the cover of Empire and appearing inside the magazine with Phoebe.

In his interview to promote the film, Harrison dished that he has been digitally de-aged for an opening flashback sequence that takes place in 1944.

'This is the first time I've seen it where I believe it,' Harrison plugged. 'It's a little spooky. I don't think I even want to know how it works, but it works.'

Steven Spielberg, who directed the first four movies, has decided not to return for the fifth one, Variety reported a couple of years ago.

However he will remain involved with the project in a producing capacity, with the directing gig going to James Mangold of Ford Vs. Ferrari fame.

Harrison has a passion for flying planes but in April 2020 he was investigated by the Federal Aviation Administration after mishearing an air traffic controller's advice while landing at Hawthorne, the New York Times reported.

'No one was injured and there was never any danger of a collision,' his publicist Ina Treciokas pointed out after the incident.

Three years earlier he was required to have awareness training after he made an error and flew over a commercial jet holding 100 passengers before landing onto a taxiway at Santa Ana's John Wayne Airport.

Harrison crashed onto a golf course in 2015 after suffering an engine problem, and an eyewitness told NBC he 'saved several lives' by managing not to bring the plane down on the suburban buildings just '20 to 30 yards' away.
